This series disappointed me. The story line was intriguing since it was a new plot twist for me but I feel the author could have condensed this series into 2 books instead of 3. I felt like I was priced gouged because it was mostly the same dialogue in every book. It was too pricey. The h got on my nerves in every book. I didn’t buy into the superhero part either. It was so unbelievable at times. The only reason I bought the third book was because I wanted to see how V’s disguise was going to be revealed even though I had a feeling I knew who he was from the first book. It was amusing at times but I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore of this author’s books. They’re too pricey and I was disappointed and bored with that lame ending.

Let me start by saying I KNEW IT !!!!!!! No I am not going to tell you what I knew but I knew it. I love Ivy Smoak's style of writing , it is unique and just has this way about it . In book three of this series everything is coming to a head . Summer/ Sadie and her crew (as I call them) are on the run . Don is now the mayor (WTF ), and everyone is in his pocket. Summer is really becoming a badass in this book . I love her. Not only has this girl been thru hell and back , she has been beat, raped and so much more and she owns it. She owns her sexuality like a beast, I love that she could overcome everything and still be able to have the close relationship she needs and wants. You do finally find out who V is (no I will not tell you) !! OMG it is amazing . IN book three you get a better understanding of all the characters , and why they are the way they are. You also meet a new character Summer and V's therapist . I wish more therapist where like him . OK you can not go wrong by picking up this series. I so recommend reading it when you have plenty of time, because once you start you are not going to want to stop until you finish

I think the author should have finished this series in one, perhaps two books. So much repition. Too much he said she said. Clearly meant to keep readers on the edge of their seats, guaranteeing they would buy the next book. You disappoint me Ivy.

I have to say that this has been a whirlwind series!! I loved every moment of it. From the first of the hand holding to the very end, Miles/V and Summer/Sadie are perfect for each other!! If the series were to ever be made into a movie, miniseries, or what have you, the song Bring Me To Life by Evanesence is PERFECT for their love!!

I enjoyed this series from start to finish. I read all three parts in one day. I did not go to sleep until I finished the last page. Truly captivated throughout the entire series. I don’t know what more I can say except that the ending was so precious and this whole series was such a beautiful love story. Love is a beautiful thing and this author did a great job demonstrating what love is and the power it can have in our lives. Now I’m debating whether to reread this series or move on lol Download all of these books now! You won’t regret it.

What an amazing series!! This conclusion to this series gave me everything I was looking for! The HEA, all the characters were developed, all the loose ends we're tied! I couldn't put the book down, I couldn't skim through anything, it was so gripping and gut wrenching, and perfect! I'm left with no questions but this book and series will stay with me for a while! It's the perfect book hangover! I'm blown away by the details, twists, and turns through this series and book. Definitely with the investment!

What a waste of a story. It repeats from the other books in the series and waffles on many times about nothing.There was a chapter devoted to WHO MADE THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATE and how?? Who wants to read that in a mystery suspense?? Obviously, all the author cares about is sales plus the money. NOT THE READERs.

I found Ivy through her Hunter series, everything she writes gets me hooked. In this book, every chapter changes my mind on whom I want Summer/Sadie to be with. But in the end, it is whom she belongs to and its perfect. I wish for another book, I want to see what happens to summer and whom she picks. Thank you, Ivy, for being the perfect rifer who intertwines her books. I saw James my fav in book one.

This is definitely a poem one absolutely loves, or struggles to get past book one. I love it and re-read it every couple of years. The language surpasses common beauty and the knowledge Milton stored in his head was astounding. The insight Milton provides into why Satan and humans both rebel against God is of course speculative (can we know without revelation what was going on in Satan's or Eve's or Adam's mind) but profound and very believable. There have been too many books written and too many PhD's earned discussing this book to even attempt to do so in any Amazon review, but if you haven't read it, if you find much of modern writing somewhat lacking in that your mind can take a vacation while reading it, if you are willing to open your inner ear to beautiful manipulation of the English language, READ THIS BOOK. This is the free kindle version which is really quite good. It won't provide any notes, of course, but I found no glaring errors.

An epic, religious poem in blank verse on the "fall of man", the temptation of Adam and Eve, their disgrace and expulsion.We follow the fallen angel and antihero of Satan with a lot of references to Homer, Vergil and Edmund Spenser.I admit that some of the text went over my head whilst some touched me profoundly and gave food for thought.Milton's purpose was to justify the ways of God to men.Milton's answer, it was God's plan.I believe this is a poem many starts to read but do not finish, judging by the amount of highlights in the first half and the lack og any in the second half. I am glad i have read it and made some notes to dwell on but I doubt I will ever reread it. Although lyrical and beautifully written, it was also heavy and difficult to read.

Years ago, I first read this work when I was completing my master's courses in literature. I worked diligently and ploddingly to move through the abyss of confusion. With the help of Cliff Notes and of making careful notations in my book, it began to come together after the first fifty pages or so. (It was rather like learning to read middle English or Shakespeare.) Then, Milton's Paradise opened and I fell in. I stood in the Garden as the Snake tempted Adam and Eve. Never was there a more tantalizing personification of Evil. Yes, he was appealing. When Adam stood with God upon the mountain and looked at the fate of Mankind, it's decline and the fall, you, too, feel the intense pain and shame of Adam. Milton creates, in his vision, a recreation of an ancient story with an extraordinary slant.

There are many issues with this copy of the book. The traditional copy by Milton contains 12 books and this one only has 10 which makes it difficult to follow along with a class that would mostly use the traditional copy. Also, the book has no section to explain some of the biblical/theological references mentioned many times throughout the poem. The book contains no line numbers and is not centered to the left as a traditional book, but centered with the "Justify" setting. DO NOT purchase if you need to use this book to follow along with a class.

I had the possibility to read this classic, thanks to the free Kindle version (THANK YOU, Amazon). I thought that perhaps the fame of this work was due in great part to the religious subject matter, but it is actually a very good read and an interesting take on a widely known story. The older English shouldn't give any trouble to people with even just a good high school education.

If you need this for a college course, it does not have any line numbers, line breaks, or any other information you’ll need to complete assignments.

Okay, you can't expect too much from a free product. What I've come to terms with concerning free classics on my Kindle, it's that they sometimes have typos or formatting errors. From what I've been able to peruse of Paradise Lost, the formatting is all right. The typos, however, are harder to discuss since some editions of the work are edited for ease while others leave in Milton's original spellings of things. Having this and a wonderful printed version from Signet Classics, I'm more likely to open the paperback book. But, I like having it on my Kindle for when I'm on the go or need to search a particular passage. It's free, so I won't complain.

The first time I ever saw 'The Opposer' as human-like, the first time I ever asked "What would it be like to be a fallen angel?" If you've had only classic Christian teachings, you need to let your mind be open when reading this. The poetic style, images drawn out of your head, the stories behind the story. With a focus on steering clear of reputation-ruining no-nos like jarred sauce and rinsing cooked pasta, Giudice dives into some deeper waters with coaching on making pizza dough and canning tomatoes. Though she tries a little too hard to make everything salacious, gorgeous, and fabulous, useful tips abound (the section on olive oil is titled OO, VOO, EVOO, WTF?). Take away the overblown catch phrases and effusive references to her mama, The Sopranos, and the motherland, and you're left with a solid mid-week Italian cookbook. All of Teresa's cookbooks feature true Italian recipes. What I loved most about this book was the sauce canning event. Not only did she give a great family sauce recipe but she also showed you how to make a years worth of sauce.

I love all Teresa’s books every single recipe is delicious healthy and super easy !! If you love fresh food with great flavor buy this book.... buy ALL her books , ...I DID!!

Very good book. Very good information on how to buy olive oil, pasta quality, myths about fattening foods,etc. Just not very many recipes. More of a good how-to book.

Love the recipes in this book& the style in which the chapters are written. I have gotten a lot of use iut of my copy over the last 6.5 years! However, if she ever reissues her books, she might want to consider having them spiral bound - the pages in the sauce section are starting to fall out of mine. This is the reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars.

I have all of these cookbooks. This one is still my favorite. Easy recipes and fun stories. Even my children love the food.
